The Department of Design, Nirma University celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day on July 15, 2019. The keynote speaker for the event was Ms Preeti Vyas Giannetti (CCO, Vyas Gianetti Creative). Dr Anup Singh – Director General, Nirma University, graced the occasion with his presence and enlightened the student fraternity with his motivational speech. Prof Sangita Shroff – HoD, shared insights about the vision and mission of the academic programme. The event was attended by all the students, their parents as well as faculty members.
The Orientation Programme for the new batch of students took place from July 16? 18, 2019. Eminent designers and entrepreneurs such as Amit Krishna Gulati, Sumiran Pandya and Tony Lopez were invited to interact with the students. The students were also introduced to Nirma University?s guidelines and policies. Various experts were invited to conduct workshops such as dance, theatre and sculpture as part of the programme.
