Anirban Dutta Gupta is a Visual Designer by training, and natural history filmmaker and naturalist by passion. He is a graduate of National Institute of Design in Film & Video Communication and did an artist-in-residency in Multimedia Design from Fabrica, Italy. He has made documentary films for the likes of National Geographic. Some of the clients he has worked for are National Geographic, BBC, Ministry of External Affairs Govt. of India, Ministry of Environment & Forest Govt. of India, Alliance Francaise, Farah Khan, and Colors amongst others. His projects range from natural history and wildlife films, photography projects, anthropological explorations, web and graphic design as well as conservation of threatened species.
He shared his work with the students and talked about his journey as a filmmaker. The presentation was followed by an interaction with the students and a rich discussion on many aspects of film making.
