About the Director:
Ms. Himadri Mahesh, while pursuing her engineering she discovered her passion for filmmaking. This passion drew her to different film sets where she spent most of my time assisting on different projects. After a couple of years she decided to make her own films.
Her first film ‘Abharkha’ as Writer & Director was made with a very minimal budget and the help of 10 crew members in her hometown. It was recognized as one of the films in “Film Bazaar Recommends 2019”. It also got selected for “Mumbai Film Festival 2020”. Abharkha had its physical screening in last year’s Mumbai film festival, 2023. Abharkha also had its screening at “Indian film festival of Melbourne 2022”.
Her second film ‘Roojh’ was selected among 8 scripts for Film Bazaar’s “NFDC script writer lab 2021”. She directed it under the “Amdavad Films” production house and it is now in post production.
