Mona Gonsai is a design professional with a strong background in Visual Communication Design and over 20 years of industry experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Design, specializing in Graphic Design, from the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. Through her career she has worked in the area of branding, brand communication, corporate visual identity design, exhibition graphics, packaging graphics and web design. She has honed her skills while working at renowned organizations such as Lemon Design and Philips Design. At Lemon design she was heading the communication design to ensure high quality deliverables and managed design projects for diverse clients. With Philips Design, she has contributed to building impactful visual communication for various products segments. She contributed to build visual communication for products specifically designed for Indian Market. Mona co-founded a design firm called Design Union99 LLP and has worked on versatile projects and industries. She has successfully led projects for diverse industry segments that cover healthcare, educational institutions, venture capital firms, real estate, FMCG, F&B, tourism, hospitality, corporates, lifestyle brands, and NGOs. For 11 years plus she has taught as a visiting faculty at NID Ahmedabad, NID Bangalore and NID Gandhinagar and at Institute of Design, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. She has been invited as an external Jury member at NID Ahmedabad, MIT Pune and at the Design department of Chitkara University, Chandigarh. Her area of teaching includes Branding and Brand Communication, Identity Design, Poster Design, Basic Graphic Design, Typography layouts and Portfolio Making Beyond her design pursuits, Mona has a keen interest in Ayurveda, Herbalism, Aromatherapy, and counselling for mental health issues.
