Jay Adhiya is a creative industrial designer who graduated from IDNU in 2023. He completed his degree project under the guidance of internal mentor Pradeep Sahu, and industry mentor Mr. Anthony. Jay designed five types of innovative toys that combine fun, learning and entertainment for children of different ages. Out of these five, two have already been launched in the online market by PLEX, a leading toy company. The first one is PLEX D’Stres Deluxe, a stress-relieving toy that helps kids cope with anxiety and boredom. It has various features such as soft textures and interactive games. The second one is PLEX Mini Masterchef, a cooking-themed toy that teaches kids the basics of culinary arts. It comes with a mini kitchen set, recipe cards, ingredients and utensils. Kids can follow the instructions and prepare delicious dishes with the help of voice prompts and feedback. Both these toys have received positive reviews from customers and critics alike. Jay is currently working on developing the other three toys, which he plans to release soon. He hopes to inspire more kids to explore their creativity and imagination through his toys.
