Nirma University Students Shine at Pune Design Festival 2025

The students of the Institute of Design, Nirma University, have once again demonstrated their creative excellence at the prestigious Pune Design Festival (PDF) 2025. Organised by the Association of Designers of India (ADI), Pune Chapter, the festival is one of India’s most esteemed design events, bringing together thought leaders, industry experts, and emerging designers.
The 19th edition of the festival, held on February 28 and March 1, 2025, revolved around the theme “Mind The World,” emphasising design’s role in addressing global challenges and sustainability. Among the many highlights of this grand event was the “Battle of Projects 2025,” a national-level design competition that attracted over 650 participants across eleven categories.
Students from Nirma University’s Institute of Design emerged victorious in multiple categories, bagging top positions and making a mark in the design community. Their outstanding projects and innovative ideas were recognised and celebrated at the event.
