An Open House was organised at the Department of Design on November 9, 2019. This day was dedicated to parents and their wards seeking information on design education being offered at Nirma University. The Open House was attended by parents, young aspirant students, and guardians. The faculty team made a visual presentation on ‘What is Design’ and explained what entails the two disciplines being offered-namely Communication Design and Industrial Design. The presentation contents focused on professional pathways, and employment/entrepreneurial opportunities after graduating from the programme. There was a lively Q &A session on admission procedures and course offerings.
