As a part of the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti and to pay homage to father of nation on his 150th birth anniversary, Institute of Architecture & Planning and Department of Design in collaboration with Student Welfare Board, Nirma University put up an exhibition panel in the foyer of C Block, Auditorium. The theme of “Gandhi’s ideas in the 21st Century” was expressed in the exhibited panels.
An overwhelming response by students and faculty members was received in making more than 200 posters and the collage of sketches/words/graphics/notes and various means of presentation to mark the occasion. Dr Anup K Singh, Director General, Nirma University was there at the exhibition. He interacted with the students and shared his valuable feedback with them. Prof. Utpal Sharma, Director, IAPNU; Prof. Sangita Shroff, HoD, DoD; Dr. Vibha Gajjar, Associate Professor, IAPNU, Dr. Bhavesh Parekh Chief Coordinator, SWB and others were also present at the exhibition.
