On January 26, 2020, Nirma University celebrated the 71st Republic Day. The event was hosted by the Department of Design, at Nirma University. The students, staff and faculty members assembled at the University campus for the flag-hoisting ceremony. The Chief Guest was Prof Ashoke Chatterjee, former director National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. The flag hoisting followed an impressive march past by the NCC cadets of the University.
There was also a photo gallery exhibition of the best photos clicked by the students in a photography contest organised at Nirma University.
