We are proud to share that Sakshi Vijay Kadu, a graduate in Industrial Design from the Institute of Design, Nirma University (batch 2020–2024), has been awarded the prestigious title of “India’s Best Design Student 2025.”
The award was conferred on 23rd August 2025 by IndiDesign and DesignIndia, with the honour presented by Mr Sudhir Sharma, Founder of IndiDesign and President of DesignIndia. The India’s Best Design Awards (IBDA) is a nationally acclaimed platform that celebrates excellence and innovation across diverse fields of design.
During her academic journey at the Institute of Design, Sakshi explored a wide spectrum of industrial design, including user research, material exploration, and form development. Her approach to design goes beyond problem-solving, aiming to address the deeper needs and aspirations of users while contributing meaningfully to people, society, and nature.
This recognition marks a significant milestone in Sakshi’s journey and reflects the Institute’s commitment to nurturing young designers who make a positive impact through their creativity and vision.
