Dr Ajay Goyal, Assistant Professor, Institute of Design, has delivered an expert lecture at the International Virtual Training Programme on Advances in Biomedical Research organized by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Andhra Pradesh, on the topic “A computational model for predicting woven bone growth at tissue and cellular levels.” In this program, Dr Ajay has discussed a theory-driven bone adaptation model that predicts woven bone growth in long bones in response to heavy mechanical loading. The model fits well with a variety of experimental studies and was able to predict woven bone growth at tissue and cellular levels.
