Overview

The main purpose of SWB is to identify and nurture creative talents, instil a spirit of discipline, leadership and social cognition, and promote student mental and physical development. Conduct competitions in the areas of creative and cultural education, sports, and general awareness-raising activities. Holding symposiums, seminars on topics of regional, national and international interest.

Objectives 

  • Ensuring the efficient provision of all social benefits for students.
  • To enable efficient and effective communication between the student’s body on the one hand and the university administration on the other.
  • Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of effective student management.
  • To promote the establishment and effective management of all clubs and societies within the university.

Activities

  • Arranging Annual Sports competitions
  • Cultural festivals like Ras-Garba, Post Diwali celebrations, Ganesh Utsav etc.
  • NCC, NSS Activities
  • Celebration of National days and social activities such as blood donation drives, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, awareness lectures for youth are the recurring features of campus life.
  • Moreover, adventure activities, like mountaineering camps in the Himalayas and desert adventure camps are also arranged from time to time.
